A New-Build Dream Kitchen in Monkton

Creative Designs, a German kitchen specialist based in Ayrshire with almost 50 years of experience, was commissioned to design and install a bespoke kitchen for a new build property near the village of Monkton.

The brief was to create a sleek, contemporary kitchen that would complement the clean architectural lines of the new home while delivering outstanding functionality. The clients were keen to incorporate high-quality materials, integrated appliances, and smart storage solutions, resulting in a modern, handleless design that felt both luxurious and practical from day one.

The finished design features a Nolte handleless kitchen, delivering a streamlined and timeless aesthetic. Dekton XGloss worktops with striking waterfall edges were used to create a bold focal point, complemented by mirror splashbacks that enhance light and add a sense of space.

Storage was maximised with a full-height fridge and an adjacent tall unit with interior pull-outs, while an open shelf above the tall units adds a softer, decorative element. The kitchen also incorporates a dedicated drinks area complete with a wine cooler, perfect for entertaining. A modern venting hob was installed within the island, providing a space-saving solution while eliminating the need for overhead extraction and helping to maintain clear sightlines across the room.

The look was completed with a coordinated black Quooker tap, black sink, and black worktop socket, while a broom cupboard in the utility was also incorporated, providing practical additional storage beyond the main kitchen area.
