A Modern Family Kitchen in Cumbernauld

Creative Designs, a family business based in Ayrshire specialising in German kitchens, was delighted to work with a repeat client in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow. The client had recently moved to a new home and was looking for a modern kitchen as part of a larger renovation project. Their goal was to create a spacious family kitchen, living and dining space.

For this project, we specified furniture from our Impuls product range for both the kitchen and utility room, creating a functional and stylish space that flowed effortlessly from kitchen to living and dining areas.

Silestone worktops were selected for the kitchen, with laminate worktops used in the utility room for a practical and cost-effective solution. The layout featured an L-shaped design with an island and an add-on laminate breakfast bar, offering plenty of prep space and seating.

We also included thoughtful touches like an opening above the ovens for added accessibility, waste bins for easy cleanup, and full-height fridge and freezer units for increased storage. A low-level seating area was incorporated to make the kitchen even more family-friendly.

The clients are absolutely delighted with their new kitchen, which perfectly accommodates their busy family life. The design works beautifully around their everyday needs, offering both functionality and style in equal measure.

As they shared, they are thrilled with how the space has become the heart of their home, and they couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the project.
