A stylish apartment kitchen in Barassie

Barassie, on the Clyde coast near Troon, was the setting for this ground-floor apartment project, where Creative Designs was tasked with creating a stylish, contemporary kitchen that made the most of the available space.

The brief centred on combining modern German kitchen design with natural materials and carefully chosen finishes, creating a welcoming environment that would be both practical for everyday living and ideal for entertaining.

The aim was to balance clean, handleless styling with warmer textures and distinctive design features

We specified a Nolte handleless kitchen, bringing a sleek, streamlined look to the apartment. The design combines the natural character of Iroko timber worktops with a striking 60mm-thick Silestone worktop in Siberian Frost, forming an L-shaped breakfast bar that provides an inviting space for casual dining.

A glass splashback behind the sink adds a contemporary finishing touch of colour, while the black-finished sink and tap introduce a bold contrast. A dedicated dresser unit with sideways bi-fold doors provides practical storage while allowing the contents to be concealed neatly when required, and a worktop socket adds everyday convenience.

Creative Designs coordinated with the client’s other trades to ensure the work was completed as efficiently as possible.

The completed kitchen brings together contemporary German craftsmanship, natural materials and thoughtful detailing to create a space that feels both elegant and functional.

The combination of warm Iroko timber, pale Silestone and contrasting black fittings gives the kitchen its own distinctive character, while the breakfast bar makes it a natural focal point for dining and socialising.

Every element was carefully considered by Creative Designs in conjunction with the client, reflecting the team’s pride in delivering kitchens that meet each customer’s needs and make the most of their home.
