A chic development on the Solway Coast

Creative Designs was proud to partner once again with RG Regenerations on another exciting development in southern Scotland. Having collaborated on several projects together, this one offered a particularly unique challenge and opportunity.

Set on the site of a former boatyard, the existing ramshackle buildings were cleared to make space for three contemporary luxury homes with breathtaking views across the Solway Firth. The brief was centred around creating open, airy spaces with seamless kitchen-dining areas that embraced both the modern lifestyle and the stunning natural surroundings.

To meet the vision for these homes, we specified high-quality Nolte furniture for its sleek lines, flexibility, and strong visual impact. We provided individual consultations for the end clients, giving them the opportunity to personalise their kitchen choices and add their own flair.

They expressed a desire for quirky, individualistic touches with a modern edge, which we delivered through clever design details like walk-through furniture doors leading to hidden pantries, and distinctive finishes that gave each space its own character.

Durable and stylish laminate worktops were chosen for their premium look and performance, while raised timber breakfast bars added a warm, natural contrast and created inviting family dining areas within the open-plan layouts.

The clients were delighted with the results, praising our ability to interpret their brief creatively while always staying conscious of budget and commercial realities. The kitchens quickly became standout features of the homes, playing a key role in attracting buyers and helping secure successful sales.
