A residential new-build development in Alton, East Hampshire

Our work with CALA Homes at Rivermead Gardens, Alton, is another example of a successful collaboration delivering high-quality homes through a considered and design-led approach.

Located in East Hampshire, Rivermead Gardens is a thoughtfully planned residential development built on the site of the former Alton brewery, transforming a historic brownfield location into a modern and desirable place to live. The development comprises 144 new homes, including a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, alongside one and two-bedroom apartments.

We were appointed to supply and install kitchen furniture and appliances across the development, supporting CALA in delivering a consistent, high-quality specification that suited both the variety of property types and the character of the site.

Working closely with CALA’s teams, we ensured that each kitchen complemented the layout and style of the individual homes, while maintaining a cohesive design language across the wider development.

Kitchen furniture was specified from the German Impuls range, offering a robust and flexible solution suitable for both houses and apartments. A mix of handled, handleless and modern shaker door styles was used throughout the site, allowing variation in appearance while maintaining consistency in quality and performance.

Appliances were supplied from the trusted Bosch brand, providing a balance of reliability, functionality and value. This approach ensured that the kitchens met CALA’s standards while remaining practical, durable and appealing to a broad range of purchasers.

Throughout the project, our team provided dedicated site supervision, supported by reliable delivery and warehousing logistics, and remained flexible and responsive to programme requirements, ensuring a smooth and coordinated process from installation through to handover.

The result at Rivermead Gardens is a well-considered residential development that successfully blends modern living with the heritage of its former brewery setting. The kitchens contribute to the overall quality and appeal of the homes, offering a combination of contemporary design, functionality and value.
